Spiritual Gifts

Spiritual gifts are sometimes considered mystifying, complicated, and hard to understand. Yet, learning about how God has uniquely equipped and gifted each of us is a step towards understanding our calling as God’s children and how we are called as kingdom workers on earth. This course will help participants understand their spiritual gifts and how the church can use them to fulfill its mission and ministry. No book purchase is required for this class. This course will be taught by Dr. Yvette Richards, NW Lay Education Coordinator. 

Post-course, you will be asked to sign up for a coaching session to better discern God’s call on your life, using your gifts and talents. 

This course is designed to be the entry-level course for persons new to church leadership or interested in learning more about how they can deepen their understanding and response to God’s call as a layperson and build skills to lead in the local church. The Spiritual Gifts course is also a pre-requisite for becoming a Certified Pulpit Supply.
