Demystify church finances and make way for ministry through a one-week online course.
Join the Lewis Center’s Dr. Lovett H. Weems Jr. for an online summer course from Wesley Theological Seminary titled “Church Finances” – July 11–15, 2022.
Specifically designed for church finance staff, clergy and church leaders, this course is full of practical information that can be applied to churches of all sizes and contexts.
This one-week online course covers:
- Creating and funding budgets
- Expanding ways to increase income sources
- Awareness of theological and ethical issues involved in church finances
- Principles that can be applied in a variety of church contexts
- Best practices of financial transparency and accountability
- Streamlining procedures and processes in the finance office
- Building the congregation’s trust through communication on church finances
